Personal Stylist Emily Stott is an expert in wardrobe organisation and dressing for your body shape.

Q: How much does a personal stylist cost?

A: The quick answer is that it depends. A wardrobe edit, for example, can be done in two hours but some wardrobes require closer attention and therefore longer is required. I charge £150 an hour because I firmly believe that once we've finished, you'll be able to maintain the streamlined more organised space effortlessly with a twice yearly seasonal swap-over. It might seem expensive but if you change your sartorial habits as a result, it's a game-changer because you'll ultimately save time, money and energy.

And if you do need me to come back for a second session, I'll happily offer you a discount!

What do you wear for work now? What are the new relaxed dress codes? I want to feel smart but not middle aged! Personal Stylist Emily Stott will create a versatile and stylish business that will work really hard for you, not matter what the day holds.
What is colour analysis? Colour analysis is a game changer! Not only does it narrow down the choice, it has the power to lift the features in your face and bring joy to your day - people will notice the difference.

Q: How do you become a personal stylist?

A: I became a personal stylist shortly after becoming a mum and turning 40. I dipped my toe in the training with a colour analysis course run by Style Me (I'm a 'summer' fyi!) and I knew immediately it was what I wanted to do. I completed my training in styling for men and women and then got my first job as a personal stylist at the Debenhams flagship in Oxford Street, London. It was the best training ground imaginable offering a diverse clientele, a wide variety of brands and an extremely talented and knowledgeable team. I added bra fit training, styling for weddings and transgender body shapes to my experience thanks to Debenhams too.

Personal Stylist Emily Stott offers online appointments for her clients based outside London. Sessions cost from £75 and include an interactive style inspiration board you can shop directly from.

A: Sometimes an online session is more convenient and you'll be amazed at what we can achieve in half an hour! After an initial appointment I will send you an inspiration board tailored to your requirements which you will receive complete with links so you can shop the suggestions directly.

A subsequent appointment will establish ways you can style these pieces to create several outfits and address any further tweaks that might be needed.

Q: Do you have experience in styling for transgender clients?

A: YesAt Debenhams, we were proud of our diverse clientele and we welcomed everyone without judgement. I often wonder where those clients - for whom finding clothes was a challenge for whatever reason - now go for advice or styling. It's a great loss.

Luckily, I have worked with many transgender and cross-dressing clients. As with all my clients, my aim is to leave you feeling more confident about your appearance and able to create wonderful outfits that save you time and effort.

All my services are tailored to suit each individual's requirements so if you have any questions, please do get in touch.
